Sustainable production on a made-to-order basis

Traditional retailers produce items in bulk before putting them on sale to cut costs. Typically, unsold items are discarded or incinerated, with the fashion sector alone responsible for wasting 92 million tons of textiles each year!

MO sustainable brand

In contrast, we follow a system, only producing items once an order is placed, ensuring that we limit our stock to products that already have a buyer. This approach helps us prevent the widespread overproduction seen across the industry.

The way the MO products are manufactured

ie: Direct-to-garment (DTG) printing is a more eco-friendly option compared to older methods like screen printing, which in particular, consumes large amounts of water and relies on plastisol inks, which are not biodegradable.

Sustainable MO clothing

Inks for textile printing and embroidery

For all printed clothing, we use Kornit Water-based and NeoPigment inks that are OEKO-TEX® certified, which means they are safe to print on children’s clothing, they are free of harmful chemicals and reduce environmental waste.

The same OEKO-TEX® certified inks and thread are also used for allembroidery designs.

Our apparel suppliers

We have selected suppliers that deliver durable products, ensuring they withstand multiple washes while keeping the prints vivid and the fabric soft to the touch.

However, please note that the condition of your MO product and its print largely depends on how you care for it. Don't forget to check the instructions page for proper handling of MO products.
